my triathlon losson

On Wednesday 3rd April Room 13 went to a triathlon lesson on the field. The girls went first and the boys went last. It was cool because we got to ride on the bikes. We had to  run around the field  once too . Some of us had  to do a water slide

because they had their swimming togs .

We had helmets on our heads when we rode on the bikes and we had to go around  the flags . After that we had to run around the flags on the field too. We had two turns. It was so cool because it was my first time taking part in triathlon.

2. How do baby elephants become orphans? there mother has been kild from there tusk

3. How long does it take for elephants to become an adult elephant?A year or two.

4. Why is it important to pick up a baby elephant that’s been orphaned quickly?they need milk.

My Kakapo

We read an article called Our Treasure Island. It was about kakapo that live on a special island. No people are allowed there, they have to have permission. Here is my picture of a Kakapo and some questions I've written.

Easter Break

On Easter Friday I went to my cousin’s place to say hi because we had not seen them for weeks.  Me and my cousin AJ played on the trampoline then, after that we went on his phone and played guns.

Once we finished, we went in his room to play on his Play Station 2. We played Skyline for a long time.  

For dinner, AJ and I had takeaways and then we went home.

On Easter Monday we went to the shops

and we did some shopping. My family got some food and after that we went to practice for our Cook Island dance group. Our group had an easter egg hunt. I found a easter bunny and my sister Mata found a small easter egg. Then we ate chicken curry it was nice.

On Easter Tuesday we had a picnic at Pt England beach. It was cool because we  had vanilla ice cream and tuna pasta. Before we went home, my family and I went for a swim.

Swimming Reflection

Have you had swimming lessons before? Every day last week, Room 13 had swimming. We walk to the Glen lnnes swimming pools for swimming lessons. We have to learn how to swim. I am in group 1. My instructor is Toby. I learned arm circles for freestyle. It's like your arms are going around in circles. One thing that I have to keep practicing is rocket arms. Because my arms were not straight. I love swimming because it is fun.
