Letter of support

for writing we have been writing about the earthquake that has hit kaikoura here is what I have wrote so far.

To the people in Kaikoura ,

I have recently heard that there has been a 7.5 earthquake that has hit your city.  I have also heard that there has been a not that much supplies to survive for the week. It has been a few days since the earthquake has been going, I have also heard that there is a navy ship to the

rescue yous so that yous people can get of the island. I am truly sorry for what the earthquake has done to your belongings.

When I heard this news I was shocked but at the same time I felt sad. Also when the earthquake happen I heard that 2 cows and 1 calf has survived through the extreme

earthquake and was saved  from the caretaker the farmer,

I thought that it was a christmas Miracle. I even heard that you have been camping out at the marae in Kaikoura, I have also heard that there are helicopter picking up people to take them to safety.

Show Don't Tell Story.

For this week we have a writing task to do we are writing about this boy that was sitting in the corner crying is head of. Here is what I have wrote so far.

The New Boy

On a beautiful sunny day there was this boy, named as Beau. He had brown hair that was straight as a line. He went to this school called Pt Germany, He was a new by the that school. The school that Beau went to was only for boys and was only for,  year 7-13 . When he was at the school he made friends to this boy that like things that he liked and his name was called Monga, he was delicate as a rabbit, he also had brown hair like a grizzly bear hair.

On the second day of school Beau went searching for his friend Monga he searched and searched until he came by Monga class, and saw his bag.

“Here you are” Beau said in a kind tone of voice.

He and his friend Monga went along to scout the school so that Beau can know the places better, It was like a tour. Then it was time to go to class Beau and Monga ran as fast as a  cheetah. As they were running, they were racing each other towards their class. As soon as possible they bump into a fine young lady. Her name was Ariana. Monga didn’t even think of going to help her he just left her.

But Beau was a person that like to help other people, so he stayed back and took her to the sick bay. Before Beau went , the Injured lady asked

“what is your name ” she said in a kind voice.

“My name is Beau what is yours”he said.

She said her name was Ariana. So off Beau went to his class, when he got to his class  his teacher asked him

” where were you”

he said that he went to help this young lady called Ariana and, took her to the sick bay. The teacher said ok but before you do anything, you know that you have to tell your teacher were your going.

“Ok”said Beau.

So in Beau went, as soon as he got inside he saw his friend Monga and asked him

“why didn’t you come”.

He sat there like he didn’t even hear anything, so Beau went to sit in his chair.

It was time for lunch time and there was rugby trials. Beau went with his friend Monga and ran to the rugby trials, they knew that there was trial because it came from the speaker. There was heaps of people at the trials, and there was not that much people to take to the game on Thursday. When Beau and Monga went to the trials they had to bring a change of clothes, tomorrow, !RING! !RING! The bell went. Before they went to class they saw Ariana and her friend Grande. They said sorry to her and ran towards the tap so they can wash the grease mud off their leg.

Then it was time for Beau and Monga to go to class, when they got to their class, they got there late so then it was time to go home. As the day went by Beau came to school and went to search for his best friend Monga. They were so excited that they couldn’t handle “himself. They were excited because of the trial papers. As the bell rang the whole school went to their own class.

Once they got to  their class, their teacher started to start the work for the year 8 . As the hours went by ,Beau started to feel guilty because he was not listening  to the teacher and was talking to his friend Monga. The bell rang ,and they packed as fast as they can. Before they got out the door the teacher told them to stay. Monga didn’t listen and so he ran but as you already know Beau was a kind person so he didn’t even think of talking back or ran away. He stayed back for almost the whole morning tea. His teacher felt sorry for him so he let him go ,and he started to ran fast, He got to the trial but didn’t stay there for long. !RING! !RING! The bell went and they had to go to class.

The hours went by and his feeling started to turn out like a person that didn’t care of anything.

He was feeling a little down because he knew that he didn’t make it to the trial. The bell went and so they went to the trial paper. When Beau went to look and see if his name was in it his face started to turn down, He didn’t make it. He ran towards the corner of the classroom and started to cry out tears like a running waterfall he also was hurting him self by kicking his leg on the wall. The next day, Beau came ,and the rugby team was going to there game. Before the rugby team went they had to call out the list as  they went through the list there was one person away. The coach said

“We need one person to take his place”The coached said

They went to go look for anyone but all of them declined them, so they gave up. Until there was this boy that said

“There is one more person” said the boy

He ran as fast as the wind and went to find Beau he was the only person left. He found him and said to Beau

“Come and bring your bag”said the boy

 “Why” Beau said

“Don’t ask” The boy said

He ran as fast as he could. He ran with the boy and went toward the bus, in his mind he was thinking of what he was doing here. His coach said

“You are the only person left”

So off they went and started the game. As the hours went by it turned out that Beau was the player of the day. He got player of the day because he didn’t hog the ball and scored around 4 or 5 try’s. They went back and started to celebrate.

Cross Country Day.

For writing  we are writing about a very exciting task we are writing about cross country. Here is what I have started writing about cross country.

Cross Country

On a sunny day filled with brightness and clouds we had a very exciting day it was Cross country. When I came to school I was a little excited but was nervous at the same time I felt nervous because something might happen to me, like I might faint or I might come last. Finally it was time for us to go to assembly. When it was  assembly our korero was “champion never give up”.

Then it was time for us to go back to our own class. As the hours go by we were still in our class doing some work. Until it was lunch time we had to get changed and Eat our lunch. After eating we had to go out and play, then after 30 mins we had to line up in our class only the senior block. Then it was time to go to the court.

Finally we started the cross country. Before we started to run we had to let our house color sing out our chart. There was many house color there was blue called as Hine Moana , There was red called as Te Aurere, There was Green called as Hokule’a and then  there was yellow which is called hikianalia and they were all named after boats or the wakas.

We had to wait for the year 1 to go and the other years. As the year ages go pass the brightness sun started to beat me down with a hot reddish head. Finally it was the year 8 boys, turn as we entered the starting I started to grip my feet on the watery green grass. Once we stood up, waiting for the clap from Mr Burt my heart started to beat fast. Then it was time, put your legs together as Mr Burt said. “On your mark get set” As Mr Burt said.

!CLAP! As the two wood banged together. As the crowed started to cheer the year 8 boys and me started to go for the sprint, as I ran toward the first Checkpoint saying to myself “Later bro” going past some of the year 8 boys. As we started to go out the gate I was taking third place until I started to slow down. As I slowed down telling the people behind me “you can take third place”. I was saying to me you can do it so I went for it trying to not stop but my heart was play up. I keep on stopping and kept on going but finally I got back on track and went for my second lap. When I went for the first checkpoint I heard my brother cheering for me.

As I passed the first checkpoint I started to get a sore ankle so I started to jog a little and then I remembered that “ champion never give up” so I ran like I was feeling nothing. When I was running through the side I started to feel stick that was poking me on my feet. As I kept on feeling the sticks, I just kept on going and tried to not stop until I reach the soccer post.  

Finally I was nearly to the soccer post, so I started to walk but not relaxing walk I was power walking until I saw some people in front of me. So I started to run as fast as I can Finally I was nearly to the finish line when I was running to the finish line I was jogging in a medium paste, when I was running through the finish line I was talking to myself “Yeah I finally finished”. It was the most hardest day I ever had but at the same time I was excited. When cross country came up I was really happy.

Trip to Silicon Valley.

For writing me and the senior block had a cool task to do it was about Gabe and Saia trip to Silicon Valley. Here is what we are writing about.

Gabe And Saia Talk About Their Trip To San Francsico

When Gabe and Saia Came to talk to us about their trip. We had to pack up whatever we was doing. When we finished packing up we had to make our way to the street so they can start ,talking about there trip to Silicon Valley. Before they started they had to set up their presentation for there trip. And finally they started they started with a greeting that gabe did then they introduce them shelf. They they had started to talk about where they went to.  

They said that  they went to Khan Academy,Facebook,twitter and many more things that are used on the internet. After they were talking about what they were visiting they started to talk about what their favorite event or place they went.

Saia favorite was stanford university and facebook, Then it was Gabe turn, Gabe’s favorite was  a prison that was the most secured prison on the earth named as Alcatraz and his other favorite was Khan Academy. They were finished and ,started  to ask if there is any question , there were many question there was one question that was quite funny it was said by desmond desmond asked if they have seen anybody playing pokemon go.

Then it was time for them to go before they went they asked us “who is going to write a blog about this”. If I grow up I sure would like to do the same thing what they were doing.

Explanation of sleeping

For writing room 2 literacy class had task to do with sleep here is what me a room 2 literacy class is writing about.

Explanation about sleep.

This Explanation is about going to outline the process of sleep. The process of sleep is a cycle where our brain and minds relax,regenerate,recover and process information. Our bodies require sleep everyday so we can function to the best of our ability. We need sleep so we can function our body.

Sleeping is something that helps you to relax and to regenerate, so you are ready for the next day. Sleeping is also helpful by healing the muscle tissue,It also provides energy throughout your body and your brain, so that you can be ready for anything that is going to happen or do with fitness.

When you sleep your brain and muscles relax and sorts out things that you don’t need or need ,it is  just like a computer trash can, Every thing that is not needed might not be  remembered.

When we are sleeping we have to get about 7-8 hours of sleep, if you don’t get enough sleep you might have a mind that is like a person that is drunk, that is if you are sleeping for 6 hours, If you are sleeping for 8 hours you will have a mind like thinker. If you sleep for 4 hours then you might fall asleep in school or in a test.

You can also catch a heart disease,obesity and also diabetes  that will contain 12% high risk of death,but how ever if you sleep for 7-8 hours or more it won’t damage our brain but the disease,obesity and diabetes we be still going that will contain 30% increased risk. We also spend over 25 years of sleeping.

When you are sleeping ,you are doing a sleeping cycle,  a sleeping cycle is when you enter other sleep condition. The first thing is when you are into a deep sleep, a deep sleep is when you can not hear things and can not be woken up by people that are trying to wake you up.

When you are finished with deep sleep you revole into a lighter sleep, a lighter sleep is when you can hear things that are loud and things that hits other things, when you are in a lighter sleep you are dreaming . This is why we need to get so much sleep and to don’t have less then 7-8 hours sleep.

The olympics is a tournament that is played by people all around the world. For the olympic there are sports like swimming,boxing and other sports. It started at 776 bc and was played only for man, Until now.

The olympic started around 1896 or 1894 There was the  frenchman named Baron pierre de coubertin who presented the idea in 1894. The olympics was the only athletic event of the games in the 13’s. It also took 1503 years for the olympic games to come back.

The olympic started in the south west of greece. Every three years about 50,000 all around greece come to watch and take part of the olympic games. In those days there no gold,silver or bronze they were given a wreath of leaves and hero’s welcome.

The Amazing Parkour ,Death Race

In writing we have been learning about creative writing here is what I have done for my creative writing.

The amazing parkour death battle.

On a sunny day there was these boys named Lorenzo,David,Johnlee,Matiu,Zane,Owen and John amour. They were boys that had the gift to do parkour ,they didn’t know each other ,one of them was related to Lorenzo, There was this day when lorenzo’s coach called him in. Lorenzo was a boy that always had his hair slicked back ,he is 19 years old and has only one person in his life ,and is his little brother Zane he was 14 years old .  Lorenzo’s coach told him that

“there is something going down on the street”.

“What is it” lorenzo said, in a tired voice.  

Coach-“ it is a parkour race championship”

lorenzo-“When is it”

Coach-“It is tomorrow in the morning” .

As lorenzo walked to his safe house he came pass Matiu and Owen ,they were also training for the parkour championship. Once they saw Lorenzo ,they asked him if he wanted to join them and train with them..

Lorenzo said “yo”in a exciting voice.

The next day on his way to the championship day he drop by and picked up matiu and owen. Then on they went, on the way there they passed out. When they woke up lorenzo

said”where are we”

Then matiu and owen woke up and looked around, There were 6 people in there that include lorenzo,Matiu and owen. There was a boy named david the person that was going to participat, John amour another person that was also going to participate and Johnlee the champion of the first parkour competition .

Then a screen that came up with this man known as the Parkour hunter. He said in a creepy voice

”you have to parkour for your life”

They all got released and then..........

On Wensday 13th April the year 7 and 8 that stayed back at school had a very cool task to do ,we were watching a movie that is set in New Zealand and called the "From Boys to men", It was about a boy named Malaga that is shy to talk to people. Here is brainstorm that is , about what has happend in the movie so far.

On Fiafia night there were lots of people. When I arrived at school for Fiafia There were people walking around ,so I went to look for my friends, while I was looking for my friends ,David Fatane said

”Mararoa’s looking for you”.

Then I went to look for him so off I went and 5 minutes later ,I found him with some else so I went over and hanged out with him. When we were walking around we were asking if they’ve seen Lorenzo.

Then It was time to get changed ,me and mararoa were still waiting for Mararoa food so I left him and ran to the dressing room. For the Cook Island drumming group ,Costume was a red t-shirt that has flower pattern on it.

While we were changing into our costume a call came up  the speaker saying

“Please make your way to the stage”

So off we went to  the stage with the Cook Island dancing group. For fiafia we were the last group we waited and waited until it was our turn.

Finally it was time to go back to the dressing room and get changed. We had to wait for our parents to pick us up at our dressing. I felt g0od when it was time to go home but at the same time I felt excited for performing.

Narrative writing 3

The Adopted Boy

On a sunny day there was this boy named Junior he had grey eyes and brown hair he was short he was 12 years old ,he was at a school named Mt heart it was the smartest school in his town  . By the time School finished Junior  vanished at the class door and through the gates to his house. When he arrived his mum and dad Was talking about something that Junior couldn't hear.

They looked at him and told him to have a seat while they were talking the mum told the dad to tell him. Junior didn't know what his mum and dad was talking about so Junior said ”tell me” In a very angry voice his face was turning red .While they were having a talk a very sad thing poped up his mum said that he was adopted so Junior eyes started to fill up with emotions he started to make drama at home.

As he ran out the door he started to fill his eyes with little drops of tears and also started to ignore his mum and dad, He ran like nothing happened. While he was running he didn't know where to go so Junior thinked and thinked until he said to himself ”the park let's go to the park”.He ran as fast as he could, finale he got to the park and sat on the smooth sand he was thinking and thinking for what he has done.

A while ago a boy named Joshua came along and sat like he was angry Junior asked Joshua “ what's wrong with you”Joshua said back to Junior “ I wasn't aloud to go to the movie in the park” “should we go somewhere where it is not loud” said Junior “yes” said Joshua. As they talked and talked they started to calm down, then  Junior said “let’s go home to our parents”. Junior and Joshua ended up in a happy family they were very happy.

1.As she knew that her eyes were going to fill up with tears she tried and tried to keep it in she was very sad . But it started to come out it came like a waterfall and cried and cried for her brown dog that couldn't stan her.

3.As I entered the bright sun out the back yard. I got bored so I looked  around, and while i was looking around a bright light was shining at my eye and it was saying to me "look at me" as I turn a colourful garden filled with flowers showed up.

4.On a cloudy day filled with plan black clouds and filled with dripping water that would wet you in second and lighting striking the floor and putting it on fire.

5.As I woke up I started to get up and never go back to sleep and will stay a wake till the end of the day. As I entered the building my mouth started to move around and never stop.

The Mt Eden mountain.

On a rainy morning there was this boy named Chad and a girl named Claren they were very close and was very talented. They called do many things like they could run 100m run in 5 min they could also climb trees and mountains.  One day They wanted to climb a mountain that is called Mt Eden it was the tallest mountain there was. So they went by running there they were wanting to have  a race. Chad said to Claren “last one there will have to clean the house when we get back” so off they went they were very fast that they banished  in a second. It was like they were running at the same flow as the wind.

The person that was nearly  at the  finish was Claren until she got exhausted so she  walked . By time she was there, Chad came out of nowhere and cross the stone before her. She was nearly there she just needed a little more fts to go but anyways it was Chad that won. They were very very exhausted it was like they were going to pass out.   finally they arrived and walked the whole way but suddenly it started to get dark. While they were walking the sky started to turn plain black. They were very terrified that they wanted to run all around the place.

They were lost in the forest where there are many bushes, so they started to call out “help us” no one answered  back. It was like it is the end of their life. They were walking and walking and still didn't found the way out so they splitted up and took each way Chad went to the Left and Claren went to the right. It was the scariest thing they been through . So they kept on walking and walking until Chad and Claren found a another way out claren found the start and Chad found the exit.

The haunted theme park.

One day there was a theme park  in America. The theme park’s name was Lost Land  . There was this boy named Gary he was short haired and has black hair. Then an unseen ghost came out of nowhere  and possessed the roller coaster.  The ghost that was trying to scare Gary was named Bloody man, he had red hair and his skin was red and had  black stripes on his face . When Gary arrived at the roller coaster, there was something wrong with the roller coaster it couldn't work. When the rides were going he saw something in the distance he rang the police and they nevered picked up so he rang his friend and said “help there is something around this theme park” as he was talking the ghost got closer and closer so he kept on talking and his phone died on full charge, so he was sure that it was a ghost that was in the distance he was getting very sacred and started to run around the theme park wherever he went there was something in the distance so he kept on running until he got exhausted and bend over and took a break he was very scared that he couldn't stop. As he was taking a break the ghost was getting very close so he was sick of running and just wait for the ghost to come. When the ghost finally got there bloody man was about to push him of the edge of the deck into the water full of sharks.  And finally his friend turned up and sucked the ghost up in his hand made machine. As Gary raised he held his  hand out  said”your next” in a creepy way but he was just joking.

The unknown forest

On a sunny morning there was this boy and girl named Lorenzo and Nikki. Lorenzo had black hair and his eyes was brown, he was 17 years old and  his sister was 14 years old and she had blond hair. In their family they were the only sibling there was. They also lived in a huge castle there mum and dad was the king and queen of the Nether land. They were  one small family that lived in a castle. A man named Bradley came along and looked at them  as they were playing. Then suddenly Lorenzo asked if he wanted to play he said in a deep voice “yes please” . As they were playing they were talking and talking. Until they got exhausted  and sat down while they were sitting down Bradley asked if they wanted to hear a story Lorenzo and Nikki said “Yes Yes”In an excited way they were really excited b\Bradley said that the title was “ the unknown forest it is real” as the days and years goes past Lorenzo and Nikki grew into a  handsome man and a Beautiful girl. When they were grown there parents passed  away so they became the owners of the castle and they were really rich.   The money that Lorenzo had  spent it on a rich porsche and  upgrade the castle.Nikki spent it on her clothes. Then they wanted to go on a field trip to look for the unknown forest.As they were looking for the forest they find a secret path way and went through it. Then they find the unknown forest and said it is dangerous. While they went into the forest Lorenzo said “ stay next to me” then when he looked back Nikki was gone until Lorenzo found this light shining at him and while he was running to it he heard Nikki calling for  him so he ran to her by following her voice and found her sitting on the floor come let's go I found the way out so they ran as fast as the wind. When they got there they jump at the end finale we made it out let’s go and have  heaps of food.

My holiday

In the holidays I went to my cousin house for 1 week when I was at my cousin house we were playing ps3 games like uncharted drake and Minecraft pocket edition and Minecraft. When we were finished we were Going to the field to play touch when we played touch we played girls vs boys.We got heaps of scores but the only thing was that my cousin was slapping poeple back hard so  I went into the girls team and  we got some tries for them  but  when it wass time to go we lost.It was time to go inside for dinner we had pizzia for dinner.so when we finsh dinner we had to go  to sleep but before we went to sleep we went in the lounge to watch some movies. Then we went to sleep.

The Next day on Tuesday we woke up and went into the garage to play on the ps3 to play minecraft but when my uncle came back he told me that my aunt passed away so I felt sad so we had 1 hour of quietness then we went to sleep.
